Product Description
The ERW114 is a high-performance High-Frequency Electric Resistance Welding (ERW) pipe production line engineered for manufacturing precision carbon steel and low-alloy steel pipes. Integrating advanced international technology with localized innovation, this line delivers exceptional processing accuracy, operational efficiency, and reliability, making it ideal for diverse industrial applications.
Forming section
The forming section serves as the core functional unit of the welded pipe mill, responsible for transforming flat steel coils into open seam pipe blanks with a specific cross-sectional shape through a continuous and progressive bending process.
Arrangement: Feeding five-roll flattener, seven horizontal roll stands, and eight vertical roll stands
Welding section
The welding section is the key unit that converts open pipe blanks from the forming section into closed seamless welded pipes, and its performance directly determines the welding strength, airtightness and surface quality of the finished pipes.
Arrangement: Guide roll stand, Squeeze roll stand, remove burr device, Polishing roll stand, and water cooling tank etc.
Sizing section
The sizing section is the final precision unit in the welded pipe production line, tasked with calibrating the welded pipe blanks (after welding and weld scar removal) to meet the required dimensional accuracy, roundness and straightness. It plays a critical role in ensuring the consistency of finished pipe specifications, which is essential for subsequent applications such as pipe connection and assembly.
Turkshead
It is located at the final section of the sizing mill. Its main function is to perform rough straightening on steel pipes. This is a two-stand four-roll rough straightener, whose entire straightening head can rotate and move horizontally. It straightens steel pipes by means of the three-point straightening method.
